Frequently Asked Questions
How do I waive the registration fee?
Email [email protected] with your institutional email before registering on EventBrite. We will respond with a promo code. If you pay before inputting the promo code, we may not be able to give you a full refund since EventBrite does not refund transaction fees.
How are short talks selected?
Short talks will be selected from outstanding poster abstract submissions. Abstract submissions are due May 8th (your registration is editable) and talks will be selected by May 15th. You will receive an email invitation if selected.
Will attendance certificates and/or educational credits be offered?
Attendance certificates will be provided upon request at the end of the virtual conference after attendees complete our Post-Conference Survey. Unfortunately, our conference will not be accredited to provide any educational credits.
What platform will the conference be on? Will talks be recorded?
We will use Zoom for the live conference. Some talks will be recorded with speaker permission. They will be uploaded onto YouTube, likely via a private link, so please register for the conference to get access to recorded talks.
Can I take a screenshot of someone's talk or poster?
No, unless you have explicit, written permission from the presenter. Anyone found violating these terms or any others in our code of conduct will be removed from conference attendance.
